Otto Bremer Trust

DescriptionThe Trust was founded by a German immigrant, Otto Bremer, who became chairman of a bank that now boasts his name. The Trust is dedicated to building healthy, vibrant communities - places where basic needs are met, mutual regard is prized, and opportunities for economic, civic, and social participation are within everyone's reach. The Trust's grantmaking is focused on nonprofits whose beneficiaries are residents of Minnesota, North Dakota, or western Wisconsin, with priority given to communities or regions served by Bremer Bank. The Trust awards grants in the following areas: basic needs, community asset building, health and well-being, and restorative and emergency services. Organizations located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan region have separate focus areas. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
