DescriptionThe Foundation's mission is to invest in bold ideas that inspire collective action to achieve powerful results. The Foundation awards grants in the following areas: Social Impact Theater, CareerWork$, Public Education, and Supportive Care. Social Impact Theater grants support contemporary theatrical productions in Western states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington) that explore relevant and challenging social issues, can spark dialogue around differing views, and begin the process of healing. Grants in the CareerWork$ category seek to connect young adults from low-income communities to employers in banking and healthcare to create access to lasting careers that help people, employers, and communities succeed. Public Education grants look to support and partner with strong leaders and innovative programs that prepare students to graduate career ready, within the public and career technical education system. Supportive Care grants address the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones in tandem with each patient's clinical treatment.
