DescriptionThe Foundation funds projects in the textile and needle arts field and its funding is limited to nonprofits located in the Mid-Atlantic and New England. The majority of its support is targeted toward exhibitions and programs that combine excellent scholarship and effective interpretation. Projects may be in the arts or humanities, contemporary or historical, but all must have a public benefit. Projects may include research and documentation, conservation, publication, and associated digital projects. Prospective applicants should submit a preliminary inquiry that includes a two-page description plus budget with income and expenses. Some additional info can be found on the Web site.
