Finance Fund

DescriptionThe Fund, a statewide, nonprofit community development organization that enables the revitalization of economically distressed communities across Ohio, helps to build bridges between resources and the low- and moderate-income community to improve the quality of life for its people. The Fund awards grants to nonprofit, community-based organizations that are dedicated to meeting the needs of low- and moderate-income communities throughout the state. The Fund offers two types of grants: Predevelopment and Economic Development. Predevelopment grants of up to $30,000 provide funding for projects with an affordable housing aspect to them. Economic Development grants of up to $100,000 provide funding for self-sustaining projects that create permanent private sector jobs to strengthen an area's economic base.
