The Kahlert Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation seeks to provide grants to nonprofits to improve the quality of life and well-being of the community in the areas of health care, youth programs, education, veteran organizations, and human services. Preference is given to applications that impact multiple funding areas. The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations located in the states of Maryland and Utah. Additional support is provided to organizations in southern Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Requests from organizations are only reviewed once per year and are due on May 1; requests from other locations are due either May 1 or September 1.
