DescriptionThe British broadcasting Organization’s philanthropic outreach seeks to improve children’s lives in the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. The Organization’s Small Grants Programme funds projects that help prevent or overcome the effects of disadvantages either working directly with children or seeking to improve their social and physical environments. Priority is given to projects working with children and young people 18 years and under experiencing disadvantage through illness, distress, abuse, or neglect; any kind of disability; behavioural or psychological difficulties; or living in poverty or situations of deprivation.
