Description

The Foundation was founded by a Los Angeles hotelier. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: education; community, health and social services; medical and scientific research; arts and humanities; and special projects. Education grants are awarded for educational reform in grades K-12. Community, health, and social services grants support the quality of life in the local community. Medical and scientific research grants are initiated by the Foundation. Arts and humanities grants are awarded primarily for outreach and education programs. Special project grants vary from year to year. The majority of the grants are limited to programs or organizations in Los Angeles County. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
