Pollock-krasner Foundation

Category

: Arts & Culture

Description

The Foundation, named for artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner seeks to aid professional visual artists who have worked over a significant period of time. Priority will be given to artists who are able to demonstrate recognizable artistic merit and financial need, whether professional, personal, or both. The Foundation welcomes applications from artists who are painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, including printmakers. The Foundation encourages applications from artists who have genuine financial needs that are not necessarily catastrophic. Grants are determined by the individual circumstances of the artists. Applicants must be actively exhibiting their current work in a professional artistic venue such as a gallery or museum space. Visit the Web site for additional information and application guidelines.
