Amelia Peabody Foundation

Category: Regional

The Foundationís mission is to increase the number, range, and depth of positive learning experience available to materially disadvantaged young people living in the cities and towns of Massachusetts. Priority is given to organizations that serve disadvantaged, inner-city youth populations. The Foundation prefers to make grants that bring about real changes in neighborhoods. These grants may help an existing organization increase its capacity for service where it is currently situated or help the organization establish a new facility where no such facility exists and bring services to a neighborhood for the first time. Priority is given to requests that help organizations leverage additional funds, employ on their staffs members of the population they serve and that significantly increase an organizationís ability and capacity to deliver its services. Additional information including an online application form can be found on the Web site.
