Description

Supports organizations that emphasize international social and environmental issues, particularly those that have a major impact on the lives of the disadvantaged. Grants support projects involving the environment; international human rights; housing and homelessness; issues affecting women; child abuse; and learning disabilities, especially dyslexia. Priority is given to leadership projects that target root causes; demonstrate solutions that can be adopted by permanent providers and the government; mobilize financial commitment from a wide range of sources; promote collaboration among organizations and funders; involve the target population in the planning and implementation of the project; and demonstrate good financial management.
