Description

The John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation, a component fund of the San Antonio Area Foundation, welcomes requests from local nonprofits working to assist residents affected by Hurricane Harvey or those who have been evacuated from other areas of Texas. Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded to nonprofits working to help local residents affected by the storm; provide food supplies, prescriptions/medical not covered by insurance, emergency shelter, and disaster cleanup services; and provide support for those who cannot get assistance from other sources or whose losses are not covered by insurance. Funding is also available to individual nonprofits if they have experienced increase service needs, a disruption of their services, or damage to a facility due to the storm. Funding is available for nonprofits in the counties of Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, and Wilson counties. Applications must be submitted electronically.
