Description

The Foundation is dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities and their families, embracing personal choice and development, and building communities of mutual support. Through specialized education, rehabilitation, and residential support services, the Foundation seeks to renew hope and restore lives for thousands of people annually in New England and New York State. To support its mission, the Foundation established the Harry Gregg Foundation in 1989 to provide small grants to low- and moderate-income New Hampshire residents with disabilities for products and services not funded elsewhere. Products and services that the Gregg Foundation funds include non-reimbursed medical or therapy treatments not covered by insurance or other programs; specialty equipment services or supplies; modifications to recipients’ living area, work site, or vehicle; respite services to the recipient of caregivers; costs of attending a special camp or other recreational activities; computers and adaptive software; and vocational, academic classes, or specialized driver evaluation and training. Additional information and guidelines can be found on the Web site.
