Description

The Foundation considers proposals in five program areas: arts, education, the environment, human services, and the humanities. Highest priority is given to organizations based in and serving Lincoln and Lancaster County, Nebraska. Requests from outside the area must serve a regional or statewide area and meet the Foundation’s highest funding priorities. The Foundation awards program and operating support, challenge and contingent grants, collaborative requests, and re-applications. The Foundation does not fund individuals, businesses, building construction or renovation, health organizations or issues, churches, religious organizations or issues, travel, memberships, endowment, private foundations, non-501(c)(3) organizations or 509(a)(3) organizations. To be invited to submit a letter of inquiry, prospective applicants are asked to contact the Foundation at info@cooperfoundation.org with information about the organization, the project seeking funding, and the budget.
