Description

The Foundation believes that investment in our children and youth paves the way for success in the future. The Foundation supports initiatives, ideas, and programs that enrich the lives of children in California. Grants are awarded in four areas: education, health, youth, and the world. Education grants seek to close the achievement gap, inspire a love of learning, and provide children with skills to succeed in the global economy. Health grants support programs focused on closing the gap in high quality, affordable, and advanced health care for children and youth in California. Youth grants support programs that focus on investing in youth for long-term security and prosperity. Grants are awarded for mentoring, career training, financial literacy, leadership development, and other programs that provide youth with critical life skills. World grants seek to improve local, regional, and statewide ecosystems that enable children to thrive. While the Foundation does not accept proposals or letters of inquiry, organizations that believe they would be a good match for the Foundation can register via its grant portal found on the Web site.
