DescriptionThe University’s Bayada Awards for Technological Innovation in Nursing Education and Practice acknowledges nurses who have made a significant contribution to nursing education or practice through the development and/or adoption of new technologies. The University will give one $10,000 award to an educator or practicing health professional whose innovation leads to improved patient care and patient care outcomes. The University will also give $10,000 award to an educator or practicing health professional whose innovation leads to improved health professions education and student outcomes. Submission categories include: Patient Care such as improving efficiency of health care delivery, preventing/decreasing errors and improving outcomes or Health Care Education, such as innovation in curricular delivery methods, improving student competency and learning outcomes.
