DescriptionThe Fund believes that an economically and socially just society depends on three fundamental tenets: every human being must be treated equally with respect and integrity; our political system must protect and reinforce these human rights and the environment must be free of violence and oppression so these core values can thrive. The Fund’s collaborative grantmaking initiatives work on some of the most cutting edge issues of our time. The priority of the Piper Fund, one of Proteus’s initiatives, supports organizations addressing money in politics and fair courts.
