DescriptionThe Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2015 Leavey Awards. The Foundation recognizes outstanding teachers for their efforts to bring passion and creativity to their classrooms as they teach students about entrepreneurship and the free enterprise system. The annual Leavy Awards recognize educators at the elementary, junior high, high school, and college levels for innovative and effective techniques related to the teaching of entrepreneurship and the free enterprise system. Up to 20 cash awards of $7,500 each will be awarded. In addition, one meritorious award of $15,000 may be presented for an outstanding entry. To be eligible, nominees must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States employed full-time as an educator at an accredited American school, (grades K-12), college, or university.
