Description

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the glass manufacturing Company. The Foundation’s grants focus on six broad subject areas: Education (higher education, public and private education); Arts, Culture & Humanities (cultural activities and institutions); Human Services (including youth services); Public/Society Benefit (community benefit); Health (including school and community wellness, youth development, and recreation), and Environment (including conservation and land management). The Foundation prefers to provide funding for capacity building, innovative approaches, specific programs/projects, general operating support, and seed money for new programs, projects, or initiatives. The Foundation’s primary focus is Muncie and East Central Indiana. Within the city of Muncie, the Foundation prefers to forge active partnerships with effective nonprofits by providing consultation and financial support to promote their success. The deadline is for general grants. Other grant programs have different deadlines. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
