The Historic Restoration Fund

Description

Connecticut’s State Historic Preservation Office offers matching, reimbursement Historic Restoration Fund grants to Connecticut municipalities and nonprofits. The grants must be used for the restoration, rehabilitation, stabilization, archaeological investigation or acquisition of the state’s historic resources listed on the State or National Registers of Historic Places. Grant awards must be matched one-to-one with cash. Facilities must be open to the public or work must be visible to the public. Other requirements, dates of mandatory training sessions, and application details can be found on the Web site.
