Description

The Foundation was established in 1989 by David J. McGrath Jr., the founder and owner of TAD Resources International, which was later sold to Adecco, the world’s largest temporary help company. Grants are awarded in the following areas: housing, homelessness prevention, child welfare, education, mentorship, environment, healthcare, and the arts. The grants that the Foundation makes often develop out of collaborative relationships that have been formed with other organizations. The Foundation does not seek unsolicited grant proposals, has no proposal submission deadlines, or pre-established funding limits. The Foundation does accept letters of inquiry after potential applicants complete an online eligibility quiz. The Foundation awards grants primarily in Massachusetts and California, but has also funded outside the state at the request of Foundation Trustees. Additional information including the eligibility quiz can be found on the Web site.
