Tyco Electronics Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation provides funding to organizations in geographic areas where Tyco Electronics Corporation has a significant employee population and for specific projects or programs in broad categories, including education, particularly pre-college math and science, and community impact. In addition to a matching gifts program for employee contributions to accredited high schools, colleges, and universities, the Foundation also supports agencies that promote personal growth, career opportunities, and economic self-sufficiency as well as local chapters of health- and civic-related organizations. Priority is given to organizations where company employees volunteer. Organizations receiving funding must be located in company operating areas of Roanoke VA, the Triangle area of North Carolina, Rock Hill, SC, and central Pennsylvania. Applications are available online.
