The Kettering Family Foundation
Category: Regional
DescriptionThe Foundation was founded in 1956 and supports a broad range of charitable activities of interest to the Board of Trustees, which is composed of members of the Kettering Family. The Foundation considers grant requests in the following areas: arts, culture, and humanities; education, environment, health and medical, human services, and public society/benefit. The Foundation uses a two-step application review process that operates on a biannual cycle, December-May and June-November. The appropriate Foundation committee first reviews a request summary. If interested, the committee will invite the applicant to submit a full proposal. The Foundation recommends applicants contact the Foundation office to discuss the proposed program before starting the application process. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
