Description

The Foundation’s Catalyst Fund supports capacity building in health care organizations and community-based agencies with health care programs. Grants from the Fund will assist with one-time expenses needed to strengthen an organization’s ability to fulfill health care components of its mission. The Fund’s program is entirely supported by contributions from the Company’s associates. The Fund provides one-year, nonrenewable grants of up to $5,000 for capacity building expenses to Massachusetts community health centers, clinics, mobile health units, and community-based organizations. Grants are awarded based on the size and scope of the proposed project examples and will only be given to Massachusetts based organizations that serve the health care needs of uninsured and low-income residents of the state. No grants will be made to individuals, for-profit entities or hospitals. Grants will also not be made to support social service programming. Preference is given to organizations and health centers with limited resources. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
