Description

The Foundation’s mission is to produce profound good that’s tangible and measurable in Bandera, Bexar, Comal, and Kendall counties in Texas. It seeks to support programs, projects, and collaborative efforts that reach as many people as possible; involve the persons served in developing solutions; raise expectations; build self esteem; develop personal and organizational capacity; encourage innovation; and make use of technology. Grants are awarded in the following areas: health and human services, culture, prevent animal cruelty, to assist victims of public disasters in Texas, and to expand or improve public parks, zoos, and wildlife sanctuaries and broaden their use. Letters of inquiry will only be accepted from those organizations that have become GuideStar Exchange Program Members. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
