DescriptionThe Foundation works to improve the quality of life for all in Alaska. It’s Capacity Building for Charitable Organizations grants program supports professional staff and boards of directors in their effort to access tools, develop practical skills, and cultivate support systems needed to effectively achieve the organization’s mission. Grants will fund activities that allow organizations to build capacity in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, program development, collaboration and community engagement, and evaluation of effectiveness. Those eligible to apply include tribes, schools, churches, local government agencies and programs, and nonprofit organizations. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed every two months. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
