: General

Description

The Fund, the philanthropic arm of the agricultural chemical Company, works to substantially and meaningfully improve people’s lives around the world. The Fund is focused on one goal: strengthening both farming communities and the communities in which Company employees live and work. Programs considered for funding in the United States include: Education K-12 and human needs/services. Examples of Education K-12 activities are schools, libraries, science centers, and after-school academic programs that enrich or supplement school programs. Human needs/services grants include those for public safety equipment and training and social services administered through the United Way. Organizations interested in applying to the Fund need to complete a Monsanto Fund U.S. Site Grant Application. To apply, grant seekers will need an invitation code. Site managers will share the invitation code with organizations whose programs best align with the Fund’s giving strategy and the needs of the community. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
