Description

The Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth (ages 6-18) in the areas of athletics, culture, and education as well as preserving and protecting wildlife and habitat. Education grants support active involvement in education that creates cultural experiences while participation in athletic endeavors shapes a lifetime of learning. Grants in this category must focus on young people as the primary participants or beneficiaries. Wildlife/habitat grants preserve the resilience of the vital ecosystem in order to promote biodiversity and the protection of wildlife. Priority is given to projects that are relevant, engage the community, focus on place, and expand opportunity. The Foundation supports organizations that provide services in urban, rural, and tribal communities throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
