U.s. Airways Corporate Giving Program

Description

The Program invests in charitable organizations and initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the airline’s hub and focus cities of Charlotte, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C. The Program invests in nonprofit arts and culture organizations, human services, and education organizations that effect sustainable change and result in healthy, vibrant communities. Arts and culture grants seek to provide access to cultural resources that broaden artistic excellence by partnering with major arts and culture organizations. Human services grants support organizations providing basic human needs to help encourage, sustain, and develop economic self-reliance. Education grants are committed to improving and expanding educational opportunities that teach skills to succeed in school and gain meaningful employment. Of particular interest are initiatives that support literacy, science, technology, engineering, math, and science. Additional information including an online application can be found on the Web site.
