DescriptionThe Trust is dedicated to improving the environment and the quality of life for people living in six New England states: Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Grants are awarded in the following areas: education, environment, and health. Education grants focus on early learning. Environment grants address habitat conservation, specifically the great terrestrial ecosystems of New England. Health grants focus on access to health care. The grants committee meets twice a year to award grants in May and October/November. Brief project descriptions may be submitted throughout the year. The Foundation is scheduled to close in 2017. Minimum grants are $50,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
