Description

The Foundation mission is to create opportunity, help meet basic needs, and improve the lives of people in Vermont. Programs and organizations that the Foundation supports range from small, volunteer-based community initiatives to large institutions. All have in common a clear mission of service and the ability to maximize the impact of each charitable dollar invested. Priority is given to requests in the areas of human service and education. Most of the Foundation’s grants are guided by an interest in helping people who face challenges in their everyday lives; helping people who want to take responsibility to change and improve their lives; and entrepreneurial, diverse, innovative, and out-of-the-box opportunities in Vermont communities. Letters of interest are reviewed quarterly: January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
