Description

The Trust focuses its support on organizations located in Iowa or portions of western Illinois. Priority is given to education and youth programs. Education grants are awarded for K-12 classroom- or curriculum-based initiatives. Higher education grants support projects developed by colleges and universities in the region. The Foundation also funds medical and scientific research grants for university-based initiatives as well as providing support for public libraries and other community-wide educational initiatives. Youth grants are awarded to projects that promote individual development and physical well being, with an emphasis on organizations advocating for the disadvantaged and disabled youth and their families. Priority is given to projects in the Iowa counties of Muscatine, Louisa, and Scott and well as Rock Island and Mercer counties in Illinois. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
