DescriptionThe Foundation provides support for pediatric brain cancer research projects and related support activities for pediatric patients in cancer hospitals. In addition to supporting research, the Foundation also awards grants for patient services that are focused on making the lives of children with cancer and their families a little easier, and for educational programs to raise the awareness of brain cancer and increase knowledge of patient treatment or options. Preference is given to organizations in areas where the funds were raised, predominantly in the Mid-Atlantic region. Proposals for education or patient services programs may request amounts up to a maximum of $5,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
