DescriptionThe philanthropic arm of singer/songwriter and author Jimmy Buffett, the Foundation supports programs and projects serving children and families, the environment, and disenfranchised groups. Of interest are progressive, community-based organizations that address the root causes of social and environmental problems. The Foundation gives priority to organizations that keep their overhead low and that collaborate with other groups in their communities to find innovative ways of solving common problems.
