Description

Established in 2000, this private family Foundation was created to help enrich the lives of community members and perpetuate the outstanding quality of life enjoyed in Frederick, Maryland, and the surrounding area. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the states of Maryland, nearby states, and the District of Columbia by supporting programs to strengthen the arts and sciences, historical preservation, educational advancement, spiritual enlightenment, and physical well being. Requests given the highest priority for consideration will be most able to demonstrate community support and most likely to attract financial support from other additional sources. Also of interest are those projects that will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide programs with long-term benefit and measurable results. An application form is available online. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
