DescriptionThe food Company and its three foundations provide financial support to local schools, hunger relief agencies, youth sports teams, and organizations in communities where the Company operates stores or manufacturing facilities. National and regional organizations that provide services to company operating areas may also be considered. Giving is focused on five areas: being a good neighbor, hunger relief, education, advancement of women and minorities, and women’s health. The Foundation provides capital grants, general operating grants, scholarships, and seed money grants.
