Glaser Progress Foundation
Category: General
DescriptionThe Foundation was created, endowed, and is led by Rob Glaser, CEO of RealNetworks. Its philosophy is to rethink what “progress” means and how we ought to measure it. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on four program areas: how we measure progress (Measuring Progress), how we address the global HIV/AIDS pandemic (Global HIV/AIDS), how we ensure the diversity of voices in our media (Independent Media), and how we treat animals (Animal Advocacy). The Foundation’s goal is to build a more just, sustainable, and humane world. Unsolicited proposals in the Global HIV/AIDS program are not accepted. Applications may be submitted by email. Specific information on each of the programs and the application procedure can be found on the Web site.
