Description

The Foundation was established in 1933 to support and promote quality health and human services programming for undeserved children and adults. The Foundation also makes grants to public charitable hospitals. Preference is given to organizations that serve sick or economically disadvantaged children or older adults. Organizations that provide for the “basic human needs” of individuals are also of interest. Grant requests for capital projects will not be considered. Administered by the Bank of America, the Foundation has two deadlines annually: Feb. 1 and Aug. 1. Applicants are asked to submit five copies of the completed grant proposal. The Foundation serves charities in Connecticut.
