United Engineering Foundation
Category: Education
DescriptionThe Foundation is the successor organization to the United Engineering Society, which was founded by Andrew Carnegie. The Foundation works to advance the engineering arts and sciences for the welfare of humanity. Grants are awarded in support of programs that focus on advancing engineering. Broad-based, interdisciplinary proposals that further the engineering profession are preferred, as are projects outside the "business as usual" of the proposing organization. Technical research proposals and proposals from individuals are seldom accepted. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
