Seventh Generation Fund For Indigenous Peoples

Description

The Fund is committed to the traditional values and practices that assure individual and collective health, safety, and well-being. With the priority being to create a better world for generations to come, the Fund supports Native grassroots initiatives focusing on healthy environments, social justice, and community well-being. The Fund's Land, Water, and Climate Program recognizes and supports Indigenous Peoples' traditional relationship and responsibilities to land, community, and spirit. The Program implements its work through the following pathways for ecological justice to assure the sacred birthright of future generations: Sacred Places and Sacred Relationships; Climate Action for Future Generations; Land Back - Water Back; and Renewable Energies. All applications must be submitted by Indigenous Peoples. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
