DescriptionThe Foundation works to promote the value and diversity of archives and archivists. The Foundation's Strategic Growth grant Program awards grants for work that meets strategic planning priorities and/or the mission and goals of the Foundation such as research and reporting about the archival profession, its practices and its practitioners; development of professional growth opportunities; recognition of archivists via scholarships, travel assistance, and awards; programs to enhance the performance of repositories; and efforts to persuade influential external organizations to create or promote archives. The deadline is for letters of inquiry. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
