Description

The Foundation supports programs that address the sustainable growth and development of American agriculture and community food systems, the conservation of natural resources, and the protection and presentation of expressions of America's heritage. The Foundation awards grants in two areas: Agriculture and Natural Resources and American Heritage. The Agriculture and Natural Resources grants support programs that address the growth and development of American agriculture, community food programs, and natural resource conservation in rural and urban landscapes in Michigan. The American Heritage grants seek to increase educational opportunities for future conservators and curators in the field and to support preservation and presentation of unique collections. Requests in the American Heritage category are accepted from organizations across the United States although priority is given to Michigan organizations. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
