DescriptionThe Foundation’s journalism program provides grants in several priority areas: news leadership, youth voices, free speech, and journalism education. Organizations and educational institutions with initiatives that support the program’s mission are invited to apply for funding. The Foundation requests that applicants send a letter of inquiry before sending a proposal. And while the Foundation will consider grant requests at any time of the year, to be considered for approval at the September meeting, requests should be sent before May 1.
