Description

The Center is dedicated to the advancement of the ceramic arts. The Center’s McKnight Artist Fellowships for Ceramic Artists Program supports outstanding Minnesota ceramic artists who have already proven their abilities and are at a career stage that’s beyond emerging. Applicants must be a resident of Minnesota and have lived in the state for at least a year immediately prior to the application deadline; retain residency in Minnesota until the end of the grant period in June 2018; be a ceramic artist; have completed all formal academic training and not be enrolled either full- or part-time in a degree-granting institution at the time of the application deadline. In addition, artists must provide evidence of professional achievements over a period of at least five years and demonstrate a sustained level of accomplishment, commitment, and excellence. Two grants of $25,000 will be awarded. Additional information including application instructions can be found on the Web site.
