Description

The Foundation is Minnesota’s largest rural-based and rural-focused foundation. Grantmaking is targeted toward creating vibrant Itasca County communities (including the communities of Hill City, Remer, Blackduck and Northome), investments in leadership of skilled community leaders, and expanding opportunity for all residents through the blend of economic vitality, intentional inclusion, and education success. Some 75 percent of the Foundation’s grants will be made in the area of expanding opportunity to residents of rural Minnesota. Eligible organizations and activities must be located in rural Minnesota, have 501©3 status or are a tribal government or unit of government.
