Description

The electronics Corporation’s grantmaking philosophy seeks to enhance the Company’s reputation in providing quality and unique educational experiences and programs in its headquarter’s regional areas of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Education grants support programs that provide hands-on educational enhancement and enrichment opportunities to a diverse population including youth, women, minorities, and educators. Social welfare grants emphasize programs and activities that reflect the Company’s image as a “good corporate citizen” by involving outreach efforts by employees. Social welfare initiatives should exhibit concern for the environment, incorporate corporatewide Web-based initiatives, allow maximum employee participation, include local civic entities, and influence and enhance positive cultural relations. The program/project focus area should be in the headquarter’s region of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, or in the local region of business unit of Hawaii, or in the Company’s Washington, D.C. call center. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
