DescriptionEstablished in 1959, the Foundation makes grants in four areas: education, community development, historic preservation and conservation, and civic and culture. Priority is given to one-time, project-type requests that have a clear beginning and end. Grants are restricted to organizations based in Maryland, primarily within the greater Baltimore area.
