Description

The Foundation’s mission is to protect and improve the quality of life through support of programs in the environment, human health, education, and the arts. Grants are awarded in the following areas: environment and health, education, and music. Environmental and health program priorities include: programs that prevent harm to human health from toxic substances and other environmental hazards; sustainability in agriculture and food systems, and regional planning and development aimed at integrating economic and social goals with sound environmental policies. Music program objectives include the playing, enjoyment, and accessibility of symphonic and chamber music. Environmental program priorities include providing environmental and arts education opportunities to children and youth. Priority is given to proposals from California organizations.
