DescriptionThe Foundation’s grantmaking is focused on organizations that provide new or enhanced opportunities, particularly for youth in the following areas: education, health, arts and culture, and human services. Education grants are awarded to colleges and universities and pre-collegiate organizations including health science centers and medical research done by educational institutions. Arts and culture grants support organizations in the visual arts and performing arts areas, museums, and libraries. Health grants support institutions providing health care, doing medical research, or outreach organizations employing primarily professionals from the allied health areas. Human services grants support organizations providing services in diverse areas to the public, and specifically to the disadvantaged, people with special needs, and the elderly. The Foundation also awards public administration grants. The Foundation primarily supports nonprofits in Oklahoma but will also consider requests from organizations in the surrounding states of Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas, as well as Washington D.C.
