DescriptionThe Foundation, created by Fidelity Investments CEO Peter Lynch and his wife, Carolyn, provides assistance primarily to programs in Massachusetts with an emphasis on education; culture and historic preservation; healthcare and medical research; and religious and educational efforts of the Roman Catholic Church. The Foundation views its philanthropy as making an investment in the organization. Of particular interest are organizations with strong leadership and innovative ideas. The Foundation requests applicants send a three-page concept paper. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will not be accepted.
