Category: Education
DescriptionThe Foundation funds educational institutions offering entrepreneurship education throughout the United States; organizations conducting cancer research and providing cancer care; and agencies providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Grants for the disabled are earmarked for programs that encourage self-development and independence including rehabilitative services and conductive education programming for children with motor disabilities. The Foundation’s primary geographic focus is the Midwest, particularly the state of Illinois and the Chicago metropolitan area. Entrepreneurship education, one of the Foundation’s core initiatives, has been funded nationally. Other program initiatives are only occasionally considered outside of the primary geographic area. A letter of inquiry is requested; full proposals are by invitation only. Additional information is found on the Web site.
